About Us

Aladdin & Company was formed in 2019. The main goal of the company is to bring the exotic flavors from the Middle East to the rest of the world.

As a native Israeli with Yemeni ancestors 

I moved to the US and I missed the flavorful dishes my grandmother and my mother used to make. 

​

The secret to the delicious comfort food they cooked was the spice called Hawayej.

It means "mixture" in Arabic and made of

Turmeric, Black Pepper, Cumin,  Cardamon, Coriander and Cloves. In the right proportion, it gives dishes depth and enriched distinct flavor. 

Just add to any veggie dishes, rice beans chicken, beef, lamb, fish or shrimp.

Hawayej is also known not only for its flavor but also for its health benefits and for thousands of years was linked to acting as a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

It is great as a drink. Use 1/4 teaspoon in a cup with hot water. Add honey and the milk of your choice.

It's delicious and helps greatly to block activation for dangerous bacteria and viruses.
